Billie Jo help
How can we help?
Orders
How do I track my order?
As soon as your order ships, we'll email your tracking link. Give it up to 24 hours to start updating. You can also pop your order number into Track my order.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Email hello@billiejo.com.au straight away with your order number and what needs changing. We'll check what's possible. Preorders can't be cancelled for change of mind.
I put in the wrong address. What now?
Email us with your order number and the right address as soon as you spot it. If the parcel has already shipped and comes back to us, Australia Post charges us $15 for the return. We pass that on, plus shipping to send it out again. Nothing extra on top.
Something's missing or I got the wrong piece.
Sorry about that. If something's missing, email us your order number. If you got the wrong piece, lodge it through the returns portal and pick "incorrect item", with a photo of what turned up. We'll get the right one to you fast.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes. Choose store pick up at checkout and collect it from Billie Jo HQ, Unit 44, 314 Burleigh Connection Road, Burleigh Heads QLD 4220. Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm.
How do preorders work?
A preorder piece isn't in stock yet and ships once it's available. Dispatch dates are estimates and can move. If your order mixes preorder and in stock pieces, we may hold it and send it all together. Preorders can't be cancelled for change of mind. Email us for the current estimate, or see the preorder terms.
Shipping
How fast do you ship?
In stock orders placed before 11am on a weekday go out the same day. Everything else, we aim to dispatch within 48 hours, Monday to Friday. Allow up to 3 business days for engraved and personalised pieces, and a little longer during big sales.
How much is shipping in Australia?
Standard shipping is free on orders over $140. Under that, standard is $8.99 and express is $12.99. After dispatch, allow 5 to 8 business days for free standard, 2 to 8 for paid standard and 1 to 4 for express. Checkout confirms the price.
Where do you ship from?
Billie Jo HQ, Unit 44, 314 Burleigh Connection Road, Burleigh Heads QLD 4220. Every order is packed by us, right here on the Gold Coast.
Which courier do you use?
In Australia, Australia Post or Aramex. Overseas, Australia Post or DHL Express, depending on where you are and the option you choose.
Do you ship overseas?
Yes. US: free standard, or $35 USD express. UK: £15. New Zealand: $12 NZD standard, free over $250 NZD, or $22 NZD with DHL Express. Europe and the rest of the world: $15 USD. Delivery depends on where you are and the service, with some places taking up to 12 business days after dispatch. See shipping and delivery.
Will I pay duties or taxes?
US orders: duties and import taxes are worked out and paid at checkout, so there's nothing more to pay at the door. Everywhere else, any duties and taxes are paid by the receiver when the parcel arrives. Not sure? Check with your local customs office before you order.
Can you ship to a PO box?
In Australia, yes. Outside Australia, no.
My tracking hasn't moved.
Tracking can sit still for a day or two between depots. If you're worried, email hello@billiejo.com.au with your order number. For shipping protection claims, allow 10 days after the last tracking update, and lodge international claims within 30 days of it. If tracking says delivered but it's not there, tell us within 5 days.
What is shipping protection?
An optional add on at checkout. It covers eligible parcels that are lost, stolen or delivered to the wrong place by the courier, with a replacement or credit. A wrong address entered at checkout, customs delays and slow delivery aren't covered. Deadlines and the fine print are on the shipping page.
Returns and exchanges
What's your returns policy?
Changed your mind? Eligible pieces can be exchanged or returned for store credit within 30 days of purchase. They need to be unworn, in new condition and in the original packaging. Trying it on is fine. Personalised pieces, earrings and anything marked final sale are excluded.
How do I start a return or exchange?
Start in the returns portal. Wait for approval, then post it back within 30 days of purchase with your packing slip, or your name and order number. We process returns within 5 business days of getting them.
How do instant exchanges work?
Lodge an eligible instant exchange and your new piece is dispatched within 48 hours, stock permitting. You pay the return label, shown before you confirm, and we cover sending the new piece to you. A second exchange on the same order is $18. Your original needs to be scanned in transit within 7 days and arrive unworn and undamaged, or you'll be charged for it.
Can I exchange for a different style?
Yes, if your piece is eligible and the new style is in stock. If it costs more you pay the difference, and if it costs less you get store credit for it.
What if the size I want sells out?
We can't hold stock while your return is on the way. If your size sells out before it arrives, we'll issue store credit instead.
Can I get a refund?
We don't offer refunds for change of mind. Eligible pieces can be exchanged or returned for store credit. If your piece is faulty, lodge it through the returns portal under "damaged item" and we'll make it right. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law still apply.
Can I return an engraved or personalised piece?
Engraved, stamped and personalised pieces are final sale for change of mind and can't be exchanged for size. Check the size and the spelling before you order. Unsure on fit? Order without engraving, then contact us to arrange it once the size is right. If it's faulty, contact us.
Can I return earrings?
For hygiene reasons, earrings can't be returned or exchanged for change of mind. If they're faulty, contact us.
What about sale pieces?
Anything marked final sale can't be returned or exchanged for change of mind. Other sale pieces follow the normal 30 day policy at the price you paid. If something's faulty, contact us.
How does store credit work?
It comes as a digital gift card, valid for 3 years. It covers the price you paid after discounts. Original shipping, shipping protection and gift wrap aren't included, and it can't be swapped for cash.
I'm overseas. How do I return or exchange?
Email hello@billiejo.com.au to start. Put your full name, order number and email inside the parcel so we can match it. Exchanges go back out with Australia Post. Duties and taxes on international orders can't be refunded.
Sizing
How do I find my ring size?
Use the phone sizer. Scan your finger, or a ring you already own, and get your size in about a minute. There's also a paper method and a size converter on the same page. All Billie Jo ring sizes are US sizes.
I'm buying a ring as a gift. What size?
Borrow a ring he wears on the same finger and scan it with the phone sizer. No ring to work with? Size 10 is the most common men's size. Every order includes a free ring sizer, and eligible unengraved rings can be exchanged within 30 days. Engraved rings can't be exchanged for size.
What if it doesn't fit?
Eligible unworn pieces can be exchanged within 30 days of purchase, stock permitting. An instant exchange sends the new size within 48 hours. Engraved pieces and anything marked final sale can't be exchanged for size.
Between sizes?
Go up. A ring that's slightly loose is far more comfortable than one that's slightly tight. Big knuckles? Measure the knuckle and the base of your finger and pick the size in between.
When's the best time to measure?
Mid to late afternoon, with rested hands at room temperature. Measure the hand you'll actually wear it on. Skip measuring straight after the gym, or in the heat or cold.
What size bracelet do I need?
Wrap a tape or charging cable around your bare wrist, measure it, then add 1.5cm. Pick the closest of 18cm, 19.5cm or 21cm. Most guys are 19.5cm.
Which chain length should I get?
45cm sits up near the collarbone. 52cm sits clean on the chest. 55cm sits on the chest too and suits pendants. Lengths vary by piece, so check the product page and the sizing page.
Materials and care
What's the difference between 925 sterling silver and 316L stainless steel?
Solid 925 sterling silver is a precious metal, and every sterling piece is handmade. It darkens naturally over time and polishes straight back. Solid 316L stainless is our hard wearing, more affordable range. Silver stainless handles the shower, the surf and the gym. Gold finishes on either need a bit more care.
Will my silver tarnish?
Over time, yes. That's silver reacting with air, sweat and chemicals, not damage. The silver polishing cloth in your box brings it straight back.
Can I wear it in the shower or the ocean?
Sterling silver and silver stainless can go in the shower and the ocean. Rinse and dry sterling after, and keep both away from chlorine and harsh chemicals. Take gold pieces off before swimming, showering or training to protect the finish.
Can I wear my silver to the gym or on site?
Best not. Take sterling silver off for the gym and physical work, as knocks and friction can scratch it. Silver stainless is the one built for that.
Is the gold real?
Yes. Our gold vermeil is 3.5 microns of 18k gold over solid 925 sterling silver. Our gold stainless is 316L steel infused with 18k gold. Neither is solid gold, so the finish can wear over time. Follow the care guide to protect it.
Will it turn my skin green? Is it OK for sensitive skin?
Our sterling silver won't turn your skin green, and it's hypoallergenic. 316L is the stainless used for sensitive skin. It does contain nickel, so if you have a known nickel allergy, check with your doctor first.
How do I clean it?
Sterling silver: the Billie Jo silver polishing cloth. Gold vermeil: the gold cloth only, never silver polish or anything rough. Stainless, gold or silver: warm water, a drop of dish soap and a soft cloth, then dry it. The care guide has the full rundown.
How should I store it?
In the pouch and box it came in. Keep gold pieces apart from the rest so nothing rubs against the finish.
Is it handmade?
Every sterling silver piece is handmade in small batches. In the stainless range, the Boston chain is handmade link by link.
What comes in the box?
Your piece, a Billie Jo jewellery box, a pouch, a polishing cloth and a free ring sizer.
Engraving
Can every piece be engraved?
No, only eligible pieces. If a piece can be engraved, the option shows on its product page.
What can I engrave?
Names, dates, initials, coordinates or a short message, up to 15 characters. Choose Handwritten, Cursive, Times New Roman or Verdana. Rings are engraved inside the band. Cuff and bracelet options are shown on each product page.
How much is engraving?
$40 per piece. Engraving both rings in a stacker set is $80.
How long does it take?
We engrave in house on the Gold Coast. Allow up to 3 business days for dispatch, a little longer during big sales.
Can I see it before I order?
Yes. The engraving window on the product page shows your words in the font you pick before you add it to the bag.
What's the difference between engraving and stamping?
Engraving is fine laser lettering, usually inside the piece. Stamping is typewriter style lettering hammered into the outside by hand, up to 10 letters or numbers. Made to be seen.
Can I add a symbol or a custom font?
Email hello@billiejo.com.au and tell us what you're after. No promises, but we'll do our best.
Warranty
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes, 1 year, with cover depending on the material. It covers manufacturing faults, tarnish and rust on silver stainless, and gold finishes on vermeil and gold stainless that flake, peel or wear through early. Gradual gold fading isn't covered. See the full terms. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law still apply.
What isn't covered?
Everyday wear and tear, accidental damage, and damage from chemicals or from skipping the care guide. Natural silver tarnish and gradual gold fading aren't faults either.
How do I make a claim?
Email hello@billiejo.com.au with your order number and a couple of clear photos. Let us know as soon as you spot a fault.
Payments and gift cards
How can I pay?
Visa, Mastercard, Amex, PayPal, Afterpay and Zip.
Can I pay in my own currency?

Yes. Digital gift cards in $50, $100, $150, $200, $250 and $300. He picks the piece and the size.
